Vauth Aviation Components

VAUTH Aviation Components approved according to EASA 21G

VAUTH Aviation Components is an approved manufacturing facility by the German Federal Aviation Office in accordance with EASA 21G, supplying renowned seat manufacturers and airlines worldwide. Founded in 1967 by Hermann Vauth Sr. as Vauth + Stich, the company pioneered the development and introduction of molded, fire-resistant foam components, becoming the first manufacturer to do so. In 1984, the company was renamed Vauth + Sohn.

PU foam materials are manufactured in compliance with FAA and EASA airworthiness guidelines for passenger seats, flight attendant seats, pilot seats, as well as armrests and various molded components made from integral foam. The product portfolio is complemented by VIP equipment components for airlines.

The company’s own testing laboratory—one of the very few worldwide—certifies all materials used in aircraft for flammability, release of toxic substances, hardness, resilience, and duration of load.

Today, VAUTH holds certification from relevant classification societies, meets all aviation requirements, and is audited and certified by all its customers accordingly.
